For today's post, we will be grouping six Inchie Squares together in a windowpane format. Inchie Squares are premium matboard (Alphamat Artcare museum quality preservation matboard) cut into convenient one-inch squares. Sold in boxes of 72 in black and white.
I created three cards - the card sizes are 4-1/2" x 6-1/4", and I stamped these three different ways: For the card above, an entire image was stamped over six arranged Inchie Squares.
For the two cards below, the Inchie Squares on the card on the right were treated in pairs. The Inchie Squares on the card on the left were treated individually.
The glitter Inchie Squares for card on the left (above) were created by spreading a layer of Glossy Accents, then immersing the adhesive-coated Inchie Square into a vat of glitter. Brads and decorative papers are from Basic Grey's Porcelain collection; 'baby' sentiment is Lockhart's; Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch; onesie is from Lockhart's clothesline image; miniature pin is from Tim Holtz. Mango (Memory Box) card base.
The Scrabble L represents the baby's name (Lily Marie...my new niece!)
Card on the right uses a brown Spica glitter pen for the branches (hand-drawn) and puffy owl stickers from a bookstore. 'owl be the first...' sentiment is from Memory Box.
Copic Markers were used to color in Lockhart's Goodnight Moon, and a Black Spica pen added shimmer to the stars.
More Basic Grey Porcelain papers over a Licorice (Memory Box) card base. Distress ink in Antique Linen was applied using the amazing Ink Blending Tool to the Inchie Square. Image (Kim Hughes, Silhouette Blooms I) was stamped with Adirondack Bottle ink twice, re-inking after each stamp. Sympathy sentiment is from the same Kim/CHF stamp set. Pearl accents complete the calming feeling I tried to create. Thank you for stopping by Ellen's Inchie blog today!

What a nice lookin' card!

Cindy, I love all three cards but the sympathy card is my favorite. Sympathy cards are always the hardest for me and I will definitely 'borrow' from your creativity. Thanks for sharing!
